NEW MUSIC – Please Read!

One of the most frequent questions that I receive from friends, or while I’m out at events, is “Where can I download your mixes?”

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer anymore.

Due to constant copyright battles, various sites where DJ’s have hosted their mixes are beginning to take action by removing our work or, in some cases, deleting our accounts all together (Soundcloud, in particular). While the majority of us purchase all of our music legally, we still don’t own the “rights” to distribute that music in our mixes (even if it’s used in our own creative way). Posting/sharing mixes is probably the number one promotional tool we have as deejays. This allows our audience (worldwide) to hear OUR style – what we play, how we play it, and what makes our sound unique. With that being said, I am going to begin posting content on a variety of different outlets.

SoundCloud: Please search “Deejay Monopoli
SoundCloud is currently the only hosting site that allows user to download. If you are trying to download my mixes, this is your best bet. Keep in mind that it is only a matter of time until the mixes are pulled down, so act fast!

MixCloud: Please search “Deejay Monopoli
MixCloud is currently the number one alternative site for DJ’s to host their mixes. Unfortunately, it only allows users to stream mixes, not download. You can find the MixCloud players to stream all of my mixes directly on my website also (HERE).

iTunes: Please search “Deejay Monopoli”
I am currently working on updating my iTunes podcast, which will allow users to subscribe via their iPhone’s. This will automatically push new content to your phones whenever I post something new. Definitely a solid option.

Dropbox: This will be the easiest, most direct option for anyone who wants my content sent right to them. I will simply create a unique dropbox link that will be emailed directly to you. If you are interested in this, please fill out the contact form on my website (HERE).

Aside from live mixes and monthly (or bi-monthly) quick mixes, my goal is to still release one or two 80 minute mix tapes each year. These may be distributed by other means (CD, USB, etc), so stay up to date to find out. As always, thank you guys for all the support. I truly hope you find enjoyment in listening to all of my content! Feel free to pass along any questions/concerns/comments.
